A taste of
Brazilian downriver racing. Italian athlete Carlo
Mercati, soon after winning Garmisch world champs in
2004, went to visit his friend Rafael Daher in Santo
Antonio De Padua (BRA), on Rio Pomba. He stayed there
for 3 weeks. A local TV broadcasted a video story about
their training sessions. Then, a difficult training
session on Cachoeira dos Macacos (1999), and finally
another video story about Rafael Daher.
